Terms of service

1. Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

Welcome to Tamashee Experience ("we," "us," "our," "the Company"), the cultural immersion travel arm of Tamashee, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By booking a trip, purchasing a package, or otherwise using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

1.1 About Our Trips

Tamashee Experience curates cultural immersion journeys across the Arabian Peninsula, including but not limited to Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE's Northern Emirates. Itineraries, guides, accommodations, and activities are as described on the relevant trip page at the time of booking and may be subject to change as outlined in Section 1.9.

1.2 Trip Types

Group vs. Private Travel

Group Travel trips are open bookings where individual travelers or small parties join a shared itinerary alongside other guests.
Private Travel itineraries are custom-designed for a private group or individual. Depending on what is arranged, a private trip may include a Tamashee Experience representative accompanying the group, or may be run entirely independently by the traveler(s) using our itinerary and local arrangements. The specific inclusions for a private trip will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

Weekend Trips vs. Full Cultural Immersion

Weekend Trips are shorter-format experiences, typically covering a single destination or region over one to two days.
Full Cultural Immersion trips are longer, multi-day itineraries offering deeper engagement with a region's culture, communities, and landscape (for example, our Saudi Arabia and Oman programs).

Trip type, duration, and inclusions are specified on each individual trip listing at the time of booking.

1.3 Booking and Seat Confirmation

A seat on any Tamashee Experience trip is only considered confirmed once full payment has been received in cleared funds.
Submitting a booking request or making a partial payment does not guarantee a place on the trip.
Availability is limited and allocated on a first-fully-paid, first-confirmed basis.
It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure all personal details provided at booking (name as per passport/ID, contact information, dietary or medical needs disclosed) are accurate and complete.

1.4 Minimum Numbers

Group Travel trips require a minimum number of registered travelers to run, as specified on the relevant trip listing.
If the minimum number is not reached by the confirmation cutoff, we will notify all registered travelers with ample advance notice.
In this situation, affected travelers will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date.
This is the sole circumstance under which a refund will be issued outside of a Tamashee Experience-initiated full cancellation (see Section 1.5). This clause does not apply to Private Travel bookings, which are confirmed independently of minimum numbers.

1.5 Accommodation Sharing Basis

Some trips are offered on a twin-sharing or room-sharing basis, with pricing set accordingly.
Travelers who book on a sharing basis are welcome to nominate their own roommate at the time of booking.
If no roommate is nominated, we will attempt to match the traveler with another guest of the same gender booked on the same basis.
If we are unable to find a match by the confirmation cutoff, the traveler will be required to upgrade to a single-occupancy basis and pay the applicable single supplement in order for their seat to remain confirmed.
This clause applies to Group Travel trips offered on a sharing basis; sharing and single-occupancy terms for Private Travel are agreed separately at the time of booking.

1.6 Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in [AED / SAR — confirm currency] and are inclusive/exclusive of [VAT — confirm] unless stated otherwise.
We accept payment via credit card, mada debit cards (for guests in Saudi Arabia), and Buy Now Pay Later options through Tamara and Tabby. See our Payment Options and Buy Now Pay Later pages for details.
Prices are subject to change without notice until full payment is made and a seat is confirmed.

1.7 Cancellations and Refunds

All bookings are final. Tamashee Experience does not offer refunds or cancellations once full payment has been made, regardless of the reason, including but not limited to change of mind, illness, travel restrictions, visa issues, or personal emergencies.
The sole exception is where a Group Travel trip does not reach its required minimum number of travelers, as outlined in Section 1.4.
We strongly encourage travelers to purchase independent travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances (see Section 1.10).
Full details are available on our Cancellation Policy page.

1.8 Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

Travel, particularly in remote, off-road, mountainous, desert, or rural environments, carries inherent risks. By booking with Tamashee Experience, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Tamashee Experience, its founders, employees, guides, and partners are not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to property, or other harm arising during or in connection with a trip, whether caused by natural events, third-party actions, road conditions, wildlife, weather, civil unrest, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for costs or losses arising from delays, cancellations, or changes made by third-party providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators, local vendors) used in the delivery of a trip.
In the event of a medical emergency or accident during a trip, our team will make reasonable efforts to assist in accessing local emergency services, but all associated costs and outcomes remain the traveler's responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

1.9 Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, activities, guides, or trip dates due to safety, weather, logistical, or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify travelers of material changes in advance, but no refund or compensation will be due as a result of such changes.

1.10 Travel Insurance

Travelers are strongly advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal belongings prior to departure. This is a condition of travel, not merely a recommendation, given our no-refund policy.

1.11 Health, Fitness, and Eligibility

Some itineraries involve walking, hiking, off-road travel, or exposure to heat and altitude. Travelers are responsible for assessing their own fitness and disclosing any relevant medical conditions at the time of booking. Tamashee Experience may decline or remove a participant from an activity it deems unsafe for that individual, without refund.

1.12 Conduct

Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, local communities, fellow travelers, and cultural or religious customs throughout the trip. Tamashee Experience reserves the right to remove any participant from a trip for conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful, without refund.

1.13 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including itineraries, photography, branding, and written material, is the property of Tamashee Experience and may not be reproduced without written permission.

1.14 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
