2. Cancellation Policy
Tamashee Experience operates on a no-cancellation, no-refund basis once a booking is confirmed.
Key points:
- A seat is confirmed only once full payment has cleared.
- Once confirmed, the booking cannot be cancelled, transferred to a refund, or reversed for any reason — including illness, personal emergencies, visa or travel document issues, weather, or change of plans.
- If Tamashee Experience cancels a trip in its entirety due to circumstances within our control, we will offer either a credit toward a future trip or a replacement date, at our discretion. This does not apply to cancellations caused by events outside our control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, political unrest, or public health emergencies.
- Name changes or transfers of a booking to another individual may be considered on a case-by-case basis; please contact us at customer@tamashee.com as early as possible if this is needed. Approval is not guaranteed.
Minimum Numbers (Group Travel only)
Group Travel trips require a minimum number of travelers to proceed, as stated on the trip listing. If that minimum is not reached:
- We will notify all registered travelers with ample advance notice ahead of the trip date.
- Affected travelers will be offered a choice between a full refund or rescheduling to an alternative date.
- This is the only scenario in which a refund is issued outside of a full trip cancellation by Tamashee Experience. It does not apply to Private Travel bookings.
Accommodation Sharing Basis
If you book on a twin-sharing basis and don't bring your own roommate, we'll try to match you with another traveler of the same gender on the same basis. If no match can be found, you'll need to upgrade to single-occupancy and pay the single supplement for your seat to stay confirmed. This is not treated as a cancellation and no refund applies; it's a change in room basis, not the trip itself.
Given this policy, we strongly recommend all travelers purchase independent travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and interruption before booking.
